Dear patients
I was born in Aleppo (Syria) in 1979. I studied human medicine in Aleppo (Syria), Berlin and Padua (Italy), at one of the oldest medical faculties in Europe. I obtained my doctorate at Heinrich Heine University Düsseldorf and at the University of Padua.
This was followed by my specialist training as a trauma surgeon and orthopaedic surgeon at the academic teaching hospitals of Halle, Freiburg, Göttingen and Berlin, which I successfully completed in Berlin in 2012.
As a senior physician, I worked at the Dominikus Hospital Berlin. There, my focus was on endoprosthetics, in particular joint replacement of the hip, knee and shoulder.
In the following years, I worked
- in orthopaedic practices,
- as head of Medical Health Excellenz in Lucerne (Switzerland) and
- as a surgeon in the endoprosthesis centre for maximum care, Kliniken Nordoberpfalz.
During this time, I gained experience and learned to look at orthopaedic problems with a differentiated perspective and to show patients a sensible, individual treatment path suited to their situation.

My aim is to offer you comprehensive treatment tailored to your needs, in line with current medical knowledge. The practice offers you both the orthopaedic and trauma surgery range of services, meaning conservative (non-surgical) treatments as well as, where medically indicated and necessary, surgical treatments. I carry out minor operations on an outpatient basis at the practice, and larger operations, for example joint replacement, at an affiliated hospital.
At the practice, I treat patients from infancy to old age. Injuries and fractures of all kinds can be treated surgically. I also treat all work, school and commuting accidents.
I hold additional qualifications in manual medicine, acupuncture, emergency medicine, basic psychosomatic care and sonography (ultrasound). I regularly attend further training courses. I am also an examiner for the Berlin Medical Association and a trained diving medicine physician.
